PERAN PENATA KAMERA PROGRAM TELEVISI TAPPING “WHAT’S ON TODAY”

ABSTRAK

The purpose of writing this final project is to describe the production process of
television programs and the obstacles that the authors face at each stage of
production. In this paper, the problem faced is how the role of a camera stylist in
the tapping variety showtelevision program entitled "What's on Today". The author
takesthe theory from several books on television which contain production systems,
broadcast production formats and job descriptions of television programs. Then
there isthe theory of variety show programs and the role of the camera stylist which
contains about image arrangement and lighting arrangement. Descriptive method
is the method used by the author in doing this writing. The literature review used is
the theory of being a Camera Manager on television programs. The author is
responsible for the overall technical aspects of presenting attractive visuals for the
audience, both from the composition of the shooting and the angle of shooting. The
final result of the production process of this final project is the Tapping Variety
Show Television Program entitled "What's on Today".

Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah menguraikan proses produksi program
televisi beserta hambatan yang penulis hadapi pada setiap tahapan produksi. Dalam
penulisan ini masalah yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana peran seorang penatakamera
dalam program televisi tapping variety show yang berjudul “What’s on Today”.
Penulis mengambil teori dari beberapa buku mengenai televisi yang berisikan
sistem produksi, format siaran produksi dan deskripsi kerja program televisi. Lalu
ada teori program variety show dan peran penata kamera yangberisikan mengenai
penataan gambar dan penataan cahaya. Metode deskriptifmerupakan metode yang
di gunakan penulis dalam melakukan penulisan ini. Tinjauan pustaka yang
digunakan adalah teori mengenai menjadi Penata Kamera pada program televisi.
Penulis bertanggung jawab pada aspek keseluruhan mengenai teknis dalam
menyajikan visual yang menarik bagi penonton, baik dari komposisi pengambilan
gambar dan sudut pengambilan gambar. Hasil akhir dari proses produksi tugas akhir
ini adalah Program Televisi Variety Show Tapping berjudul “What’s on Today”.
