PERANCANGAN GRAFIS PADA NASKAH NOVEL “LINDAP”

"Lindap" is a teenlit fiction novel that the author produces as a Final Project in the Publishing study program. In this Final Assignment report, the author explains the graphic design process of the novel "Lindap" which includes layout, cover design and illustrations. The literature review that the author uses is Landa's and Salisbury’s theory, with a description of the four steps in making cover designs and layouts, and three steps of illustration. The four steps are material gathering, analyzing and conceptualizing visuals, design developings, and implementation. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the author uses illustrations on the cover design and layout in the novel "Lindap" is the right choice to add to the interest of the readers as well as package the whole novel "Lindap" well.

"Lindap" merupakan novel fiksi romansa remaja yang penulis hasilkan sebagai karya Tugas Akhir pada program studi Penerbitan. Dalam laporan Tugas Akhri ini penulis menjelaskan proses perancangan grafis novel "Lindap" yang termasuk di dalamnya meliputi tata letak, desain sampul dan ilustrasi. Tinjauan Pustaka yang penulis gunakan adalah teori Landa dan Salisbury, dengan penjabaran empat tahapan dalam pembuatan desain sampul dan tata letak, dan serta tiga tahapan pada pembuatan ilustrasi. Empat tahapan tersebut yaitu pengumpulan bahan, analisis dan mengkonsep visual, mengembangkan desain, dan implementasi. Berdasarkan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penulis menggunakan ilustrasi pada desain sampul dan tata letak dalam novel "Lindap" merupakan pilihan yang tepat untuk menambah daya tarik para pembaca sekaligus mengemas keseluruhan novel “Lindap” dengan baik.
