PERMASALAHAN SAAT PEMBUATAN KEMASAN LUNCH BOX OKEY MENGGUNAKAN MESIN LUNCH BOX FORMING 6 CORNER DI PT SOLO MURNI EPTE

ABSTRAK
Lunch box is the type of packaging that can be used as message food packaging.
Generally, the paper that can be used for packing lunch box is ivory and kraft. For the
lunch box packaging, one of the machines used was the lunch box forming 6 corner. The
machine is producing lunch box packaging through the process of folding, welding and
processing. The processing process does not use glue as an additives but also uses heat to
convert the lunch box sides. The lunch box packaging is often a problem with this
machine, so inhibiting production. Problems that often occur include creases in the glue
flap area of the lunch box packaging that are not precise, the glue sticking on the glue
flap area of the lunch box packaging that is not right and the accumulation of paper on
the machine rails.. Based on data collection of observations, interviews, and library
studies, knowledge and skill tools as well as maintenance and maintenance affect the
production and quality of a product produced

Lunch box merupakan jenis kemasan yang dapat digunakan sebagai kemasan makanan
pesan-antar. Pada umumnya, kertas yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembuatan
kemasan lunch box adalah ivory dan kraft. Untuk memproduksi kemasan lunch box,
salah satu mesin yang digunakan adalah mesin Lunch Box Forming 6 Corner. Mesin ini
memproduksi kemasan lunch box melalui proses pelipatan, pengeleman dan perekatan.
Proses perekatan pada mesin ini tidak menggunakan lem sebagai bahan tambahan
melainkan menggunakan heater untuk perekatan bagian sisi kertas lunch box. Pada mesin
ini, sering ditemui permasalahan saat pembuatan kemasan lunch box, sehingga proses
produksi menjadi terhambat. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi diantaranya adalah lipatan
pada area glue flap kemasan lunch box yang tidak presisi, rekatan lem pada area glue flap
kemasan lunch box yang tidak tepat dan terjadinya penumpukan kertas pada rel mesin.
Berdasarkan hasil dari pengumpulan data berupa pengamatan, wawancara, dan studi
pustaka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan operator serta
peeliharaan dan perawatan mesin mempengaruhi kelancaran proses produksi dan kualitas
suatu produk yang dihasilkan.
