PENULISAN NASKAH NOVEL "UTAS TEJA"

This final report discusses the script writing of the novel "Utas Teja". The script "Utas Teja" is included in the category of romance by using a mixed plot. This novel is written from the first person point of view through the technique of ego with a character named Arumita Zahra. Briefly, this novel discusses the character 'I' who tends to suppress his feelings but wants to get out of his comfort zone when he falls in love. Writing this report aims to describe the process of writing the novel script "Utas Teja". While the purpose of writing this work is so that teenagers, especially women who have similar problems, can have the courage to express their feelings first. In the writing process, the author uses Dalman's (2015) theory, namely pre-writing, writing and post-writing. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the stage of writing a novel begins with collecting the required data and information and then develops it through an essay framework and then it is written in its entirety to become a dummy script that has gone through the examination process and was given an overall design.

Laporan tugas akhir ini membahas tentang Penulisan Naskah Novel “Utas Teja”. Naskah “Utas Teja” termasuk dalam kategori romansa dengan menggunakan alur campuran. Novel ini ditulis dengan sudut pandang orang pertama melalui teknik keakuan dengan karakter bernama Arumita Zahra. Secara singkat, novel ini membahas tentang tokoh ‘Aku’ yang cenderung memendam perasaannya namun ingin keluar dari zona nyamannya saat jatuh cinta. Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan proses penulisan naskah novel “Utas Teja”. Sementara tujuan penulisan karya ini bertujuan agar remaja terutama perempuan yang memiliki permasalahan serupa dapat memiliki keberanian untuk menyatakan perasaannya lebih dulu. Dalam proses penulisannya, penulis menggunakan teori Dalman (2015) yaitu prapenulisan, penulisan dan pascapenulisan. Berdasarkan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tahap menulis novel dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang dibutuhkan kemudian dikembangkan melalui kerangka karangan lalu ditulis secara utuh hingga menjadi naskah dalam bentuk dummy yang telah melalui proses pemeriksaan serta diberi desain secara keseluruhan.
