PERANCANGAN BUKU HURUF HIJAIYAH DENGAN DESAIN KARAKTER DI TK IT ZIA SALSABILA

Hijaiyah letters are letters from Arabic that are used as the basis for reading the
Qur'an. Therefore, it is important for people who embrace Islam to learn the
hijaiyah letters from an early age so that they can read the Qur'an which is the
guide as well as life guidelines for Muslims. In the application of hijaiyah letter
education, many use Iqra books as learning media, Iqra books are considered quite
effective for teaching children. But in terms of packaging, the existing books are
not very interesting for children to learn. So that early childhood feels learning with
these media is less interesting and difficult to absorb, such as memorizing and
distinguishing letters. So we need an interactive educational media about hijaiyah
letters that are adapted to the stage of early childhood development, namely with a
target age of 4-6 years. The research was conducted using interview methods and
qualitative methods in the form of a questionnaire to parents who have children
aged 4-6 years. The design of this interactive book that supports the education of
hijaiyah letters is expected to be effective, facilitating the absorption of material in
a more attractive way with visuals and interactivity.
