IDENTIFIKASI REJECT KARTU ASURANSI MANDIRI PADA PROSES LAMINASI CETAK MENGGUNAKAN MESIN LAMINASI DI PT MULTIGRAFIKA GLOBAL

ABSTRAK
The lamination process is the process of applying a layer of plastic film on a sheet material so that the material is water, steam or air resistant. PT Multigrafika Global is known as a company engaged in card printing made of PVC by producing cards. In addition, this company also has various machines to carry out the production process from start to finish, one of which is a lamination machine. This lamination machine often encounters problems during production. Based on the observations made by the author during the lamination process, there were problems with the product, including the inaccuracy of time and temperature during the heating/oven process which resulted in the printed product being curved/wavy, operator negligence such as not paying attention to cleanliness so that the plate became dirty, and couted overlay placement error. From these problems, a solution action was taken using the fishbone diagram method. In this report, the authors explain about the rejects found in the card lamination process, find out the cause and effect of the problems that arise, and find out the solutions to the problems.

Proses laminasi adalah proses pemberian lapisan film plastik pada suatu bahan lembaran sehingga diperoleh bahan tersebut kedap air, uap ataupun udara. PT Multigrafika Global dikenal sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang percetakan kartu berbahan PVC dengan memproduksi kartu. Selain itu, perusahaan ini juga memiliki mesin – mesin yang beragam untuk menjalankan proses produksi dari awal hingga akhir, salah satunya mesin laminasi. Mesin laminasi ini kerap kali menemui kendala ketika sedang melakukan produksi. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan penulis selama proses laminasi, terjadi masalah yang terdapat pada produk tersebut, diantaranya ketidaktepatan waktu dan suhu pada saat proses pemanasan/ oven yang mengakibatkan produk cetak menjadi melengkung/ bergelombag, kelalaian pada operator seperti tidak memperhatikan kebersihan sehingga plate menjadi kotor, dan kesalahan penempatan overlay couted. Dari permasalahan tersebut dilakukan tindakan solusi dengan metode diagram fishbone. Pada laporan ini, penulis menjelaskan tentang reject yang ditemukan pada proses laminasi kartu, mengetahui sebab akibat dari permasalahan yang timbul, serta mengetahui solusi dari permasalahan.
