The writing of this final project is entitled Peran Program Director Program Televisi Edutainment “Cerdas Ceria". This program is an game show edutainment program in which there is a king who is looking for the smartest group but they have to go through a challenge in the form of a game. The author describes the production stages of the "Cerdas Ceria" edutainment game show program starting from pre-production, production, to post-production carried out by a Program Director. Broadly speaking, the writer who acts as the Program Director has the responsibility to translate the script into audio-visual works and is responsible technically as well as visually. The author collects data through research, interviews, observations, and literature studies regarding children's interest in this edutainment game show program as well as children's knowledge of the kingdom of Indonesia. The role of a Program Director is very important to realize the program that has been designed.

ABSTRAK

Penulisan tugas akhir ini berjudul Peran Program Director Program Televisi Game Show Edutainment “Cerdas Ceria”. Program ini merupakan sebuah program game show edutainment dimana di dalamnya terdapat seorang Raja yang mencari kelompok terpintar namun mereka harus melalui tantangan berbentuk permainan. Penulis menguraikan tahapan produksi progam game show edutainment “Cerdas Ceria” dimulai dari pra produksi, produksi, hingga pasca produksi yang dilakukan oleh seorang Program Director. Secara garis besar, penulis yang berperan sebagai Program Director memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menerjemahkan naskah menjadi karya audio visual dan bertanggung jawab secara teknis juga visual. Penulis melakukan pengumpulan data melalui riset, wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka mengenai minat anak-anak terhadap program game show edutainment ini juga terhadap pengetahuan anak mengenai kerajaan Indonesia. Peran seorang Program Director sangat penting untuk mewujudkan program yang telah dirancang.
