ANALISIS PRODUKTIVITAS MESIN FINISHING PERFECT BINDING TSK DENGAN METODE OEE DAN FMEA PERIODE 2021 DI PT TEMPrint

Perfect Binding Machine is a finishing tool for the book binding process that is often used in the printing industry. When producing problems that often arise in the Perfect Binding machine are downtime, breakdown, setup and adjustment which results in reduced production productivity. The purpose of this study is to increase productivity by knowing the results of the Calculation of Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) on the Perfect Binding machine and knowing some of the factors that cause the decline in production productivity by using a cause and effect diagram and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method so that corrective steps can be taken. Based on the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) on the Perfect Binding Machine for the 2021 period, a result of 76.25% was obtained. In general, OEE achievement has increased but has not yet reached the World Class OEE criteria. The low OEE value is caused by 4 factors, namely the operator's knowledge of the machine is lacking (Human), the cathern level is often stuck in the gathering unit (Machine), the vendor is late in supply (Material), and the time of changing printing materials is inefficient (Method).

Mesin Perfect Binding merupakan alat finishing untuk proses menjilid buku yang sering digunakan pada industri percetakan. Ketika berproduksi masalah yang sering muncul pada mesin Perfect Binding adalah downtime, breakdown, setup and adjustment yang mengakibatkan produktivitas hasil produksi berkurang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produktifitas dengan cara mengetahui hasil perhitungan Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) pada mesin Perfect Binding dan mengetahui beberapa faktor yang menjadi penyebab menurunnya produktivitas hasil produksi dengan menggunakan diagram sebab akibat dan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) sehingga dapat dilakukan langkah-langkah perbaikan. Berdasarkan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effetiviness (OEE) pada Mesin Perfect Binding periode 2021 didapatkan hasil sebesar 76.25%. Secara umum pencapaian OEE meningkat tetapi belum mencapai kriteria World Class OEE. Rendahnya nilai OEE disebabkan oleh 4 faktor yaitu pengetahuan operator tentang mesin kurang (Manusia), vel katern sering tersangkut pada unit gathering (Mesin), vendor terlambat supply (Material), dan waktu pergantian bahan cetak tidak efisien (Metode).
