Peran Produser Dalam Pembuatan Dokumenter Televisi “Benar Luar Biasa” Episode “Tuna Ganda”

The writer and the team made the first episode of the TV program "Benar Luar Biasa" entitled "Tuna Ganda," to be used as a final project. This episode is about the portrait of people with multiple disabilities, which includes physical disabilities and mental retardation. The purpose of this final project is to identify and perform the role of a producer in controlling and managing the production process of the television documentary program "Benar Luar Biasa" episode "Tuna Ganda." The literature review used in the making of this work is the theory of portrait documentary with an expository style and the role and duties of a producer. In this paper, the author uses the research method of observation, literature study, and interviews that related to the role of the producer. The workflow carried out by the author from preparation, implementation, and
evaluation has been adjusted for the literature review. Some of the problems encountered have been addressed by the author. Thus, the author is able to control and manage the production process of this documentary program.

Penulis dan tim menjadikan episode pertama program tv “Benar Luar Biasa” yang berjudul “Tuna Ganda” untuk dijadikan karya tugas akhir. Episode ini menceritakan tentang potret para penyandang disabilitas cacat ganda yang meliputi cacat fisik dan keterbelakangan mental. Tujuan dari karya tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan melakukan peran seorang produser dalam mengontrol dan mengatur proses produksi program dokumenter televisi “Benar Luar Biasa” episode “Tuna Ganda”. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan dalam pembuatan karya ini adalah teori mengenai dokumenter potret dengan gaya ekspositori dan peran serta tugas sebagai produser. Dalam karya tulis ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara yang berhubungan dengan peran produser. Alur kerja yang dilakukan penulis mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi sudah disesuaikan dengan tinjauan pustaka. Beberapa masalah yang dihadapi telah diatasi oleh penulis. Sehingga, penulis mampu mengontrol dan mengatur proses produksi program dokumenter
ini.
