MAKING AN ANIMATED SHORT FILM ENTITLED
“THE ADVENTURE OF LUTUNG”

ABSTRACT
Making animated films using cultural elements is very rare. With the author's awareness of the importance of introducing West Javanese culture to the world, and making us aware of the importance of Indonesian culture. In this report the author explains several things related to the process of making the animated short film "The Adventure of Lutung" such as the animation pipeline from pre-production, creating story concepts, storyboards, character designs. then in the production process the author describes the process of merigging the characters that are discussed in this report, then also describes 2D animate and skinning. Next, is the post-production stage, the author makes this film using 12 principles of animation. In conclusion, the author wants the Indonesian people to participate and love domestic products so that animated films can develop in Indonesia.

PEMBUATAN FILM PENDEK ANIMASI BERJUDUL
“THE ADVENTURE OF LUTUNG”
ABSTRAK
Membuat film animasi dengan menggunakan unsur budaya sangat jarang sekali. Dengan kesadaran penulis akan pentingnya mengenalkan budaya Jawa barat kepada dunia, serta menyadarkan kita akan pentingnya budaya Indonesia. Dalam laporan ini penulis menjelaskan beberapa hal terkait proses pembuatan film pendek animasi “The Adventure of Lutung” seperti pipeline animasi dari pra produksi, membuat konsep cerita, storyboard, desain karakter. kemudian dalam proses produksi penulis memaparkan proses dalam merigging karakter yang menjadi pembahasan pada laporan ini, kemudian dijabarkan juga mengenai animate 2D dan skinning. selanjutnya, adalah tahapan pasca produksi, penulis membuat film ini menggunakan 12 prinsip animasi. Kesimpulannya, penulis menginginkan masyarakat Indonesia berperan serta dan mencintai produk dalam negeri sehingga bisa berkembangnya perfilman animasi di Indonesia.
