PERMASALAHAN DAN SOLUSI PADA UNIT PEMBASAH MESIN CETAK OFFSET ROTOMAN 50 DI PT. GRAFIKA MULTI WARNA

Offset printing is a printing technique in which the process requires water to reject
ink in non-image area.. The purpose of this observation is to find out the problems
caused by the effect of regulating the roller pressure on the dampening unit on the
prints made into a brochure, knowing how to solve problems in the printing process.
The method used in writing this Final Project is a descriptive writing method,
because this method is used to describe and provide explanations and conduct
interviews with the Rotoman 50 machine operator how to overcome the problem of
the effect of setting on the wetting unit on the Rotoman 50 machine and the lack of
precision in installing the wetting roller at the time of writing. adjustment, therefore
for the position of the entire Wetting Roller must be placed on a plate with a size of
0.1 mm. Based on the observations during the writing of this Final Project, it is
concluded that the effect of setting the dampening unit on the Rotoman 50 engine
at PT. Multi Color Graphics will produce quality prints, if the machine is in good
and stable condition and always checks on each machine unit or performs regular
machine maintenance.

Cetak offset merupakan salah satu teknik cetak pada prosesnya memerlukan air
untuk menolak tinta pada area tidak bergambar. Tujuan dari pengamatan ini adalah
untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang diakibatkan oleh efek pengaturan tekanan rol
pada unit pembasah pada hasil cetakan yang dijadikan sebuah brosur, mengetahui
cara mengatasi permasalahan pada proses cetak. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah metode penulisan deskriptif, karena metode ini
guna untuk mendeskripsikan dan memberikan penjelasan serta melakukan
wawancara dengan operator mesin Rotoman 50 cara mengatasi masalah pengaruh
penyetelan pada unit pembasah di mesin Rotoman 50 dan kurang presisinya
pemasangan wetting roller pada saat penyetelan, oleh karena itu untuk posisi
seluruh Rol Pembasah harus diletakkan pada pelat dengan ukuran 0,1 mm.
Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan selama penulisan Tugas Akhir ini, disimpulkan
bahwa pengaruh setting dampening unit pada mesin Rotoman 50 pada PT. Grafika
Multi Warna akan menghasilkan cetakan yang berkualitas, jika mesin dalam
kondisi baik dan stabil serta selalu melakukan pengecekan pada setiap unit mesin
atau melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala.
