“Identifikasi Permasalahan Cacat Cetak Misregister Pada Kemasan Fleksibel Produk Mi Instan Di Mesin Rotogravur”

Flexible Packaging serves as a promotional and informational tool, because this packaging can be made a wide and flexible print field or can follow the shape of the packaged product so that it can contain a lot of information in it and the information contained in this Flexible packaging must be made as clear as possible and look attractive so that consumers can read and understand the information clearly, one of the factors that reduce the function of flexible packaging above is the presence of misregister defects. The goal in this Final Project is to identify defects in the misregister printing rotogravure flexible packaging of instant noodle products. The implementation methods that the authors chose include observation methods, interviews and literature studies. The manufacture of this flexible packaging through a printing process that functions to print a design on the print surface, processed print there are several types of defects and factors that cause it. In the inspection or handling of quality control officers, misregister defects have a measurement value using a 20x Measuring Microscope tool and visual measurements in accordance with the packaging material specification reference. The dominant type of rotogravure printing defect of flexible packaging of instant noodle products is the misregister defect.

Kemasan fleksibel berfungsi sebagai alat promosi dan informasi, karena kemasan ini bisa dibuat bidang cetak yang lebar dan bersifat fleksibel atau bisa mengikuti bentuk produk yang dikemas jadi bisa memuat banyak informasi di dalamnya. informasi yang terdapat pada kemasan Fleksibel ini harus dibuat sejelas mungkin dan terlihat menarik sehingga konsumen dapat membaca dan memahami informasinya dengan jelas, salah satu faktor yang mengurangi fungsi dari kemasan fleksibel diatas yaitu adanya cacat penyimpangan ketepatan. Tujuan dalam Tugas Akhir ini yaitu mengidentifikasi cacat penyimpangan ketepatan cetak rotogravur kemasan fleksibel produk mi instan. Metode pelaksanaan yang penulis pilih meliputi metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Pembuatan kemasan fleksibel ini melalui proses cetak yang berfungsi untuk mencetak sebuah desain pada permukaan cetak, diproses cetak terdapat beberapa jenis cacat serta faktor penyebabnya. Dalam inspeksi atau penanganan petugas pengendalian kualitas, cacat penyimpangan ketepatan memiliki nilai pengukuran menggunakan alat Measuring Microscope 20x dan pengukuran visual sesuai dengan acuan Packaging Material Specification. Jenis cacat cetak rotogravur kemasan fleksibel produk mi instan yang dominan yaitu cacat penyimpangan ketepatan.
