IDENTIFIKASI PERMASALAHAN DAN OPTIMALISASI KUALITAS PADA PROSES PEMBUATAN PELAT CETAK MENGGUNAKAN MESIN KODAK TRENDSETTER 800 DI CV GAMMA BINTANG GRAFIKA

This writing discusses problems in the process of making printing plates using the
Kodak Trendsetter 800 machine. This writing is motivated by the rapid development
of the graphic world, but still experiencing problems in production activities. This
writing has a research limitation, namely CV Gamma Bintang Grafika. The Kodak
Trendsetter 800 machine became the object of this research and the problems in
the plate printing process became a variable in this paper. Data collection uses
three research methods, namely the observation method, the interview method, and
the literature study method. The results of this paper arethe problems caused by
the Kodak Trendsetter 800 machine. The problems are,
(1) the corrugated plate, (2) the printing plate is dropped, (3) the plate is
scratched/scratched, and (4) during irradiation. These problems can be handled by
CV Gamma Bintang Grafika well. In controlling the quality of the results, CV
Gamma Bintang Grafika has standardized optimization to achieve maximum
quality results and can minimize rejects in the printing plate manufacturing process

Penulisan ini membahas permasalahan pada proses pembuatan pelat cetak
menggunakan mesin Kodak Trendsetter 800. penulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh
cepatnya perkembangan dunia grafika, namun masih mengalami kendala dalam
kegiatan produksi. Penulisan ini terdapat pembatasan penelitian, yaitu CV Gamma
Bintang Grafika. Mesin Kodak Trendsetter 800 menjadi objek penelitian ini dan
permasalahan pada proses pelat cetak sebagai variabel penulisan ini. Pengumpulan
data menggunakan tiga metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu metode observasi,
metode wawancara, dan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penulisan ini terdapat
permasalahan yang ditimbulkan oleh mesin Kodak Trendsetter 800. Permasalah
tersebut berupa, (1) pelat bergelombang, (2) palte cetak rontok, (3) pelat
baret/tergores, dan (4) pada saat penyinaran. Permasalahan- permasalahan tersebut
dapat ditangani oleh CV Gamma Bintang Grafika dengan baik. Dalam mengontrol
hasil kualitas CV Gamma Bintang Grafika memiliki standarisasi pengoptimalan
agar mencapai hasil kualitas maksimal serta dapat meminimalisir hasil reject dalam
proses pembuatan pelat cetak.
