PERANCANGAN BUKU POP-UP TENTANG CERITA “KELINCI DAN KURA-KURA” SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BAGI SISWA TK ISLAM PERMATA MEDAN

In general, there are various characteristics of students, ranging from good or bad personalities in learning activities. In learning activities, it is also often found that students are bored with monotonous learning activities. So that students do not focus on ongoing learning activities. In the learning process, there are learning media as a form of interaction and communication between educators and students. One of the learning media that has good benefits is a fable story book that contains a moral message in it in order to build good character in students. There are other interesting learning media, namely Pop-Up Books. Therefore, the design of Pop-Up Books can encourage students' interest in the teaching process. The purpose of this design is for students to easily understand and not get bored when learning activities are taking place. The data collection technique used in this paper is the method of observation, interviews and library studies. The stages of designing this pop-up book start from the pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The result of this writing is a pop-up book using Adobe Illustrator software. The subjects of this writing are students from Permata Medan Islamic Kindergarten.
