CETAK AL-QURAN MENGGUNAKAN MESIN HEIDELBERG SPEEDMASTER XL-106 DI PT MACANANJAYA CEMERLANG

Offset printing is an indirect printing process, meaning that the transfer of ink from
the print reference does not directly affect the printed material, but through an
intermediary medium, namely a new blanket cylinder on the printed material. The purpose
of this observation is to know the process of printing the Al-Quran, to know the problems
during production and how to overcome the problems that occur. The method used in the
preparation of this final project is a descriptive writing method because this method is
descriptive and describes how the process of printing the Al-Quran using the Heidelberg
speedmaster XL-106 machine. The problems that occur in each unit based on the
observations are the sheets experiencing mis register/doubling in the print section, the
prints experience wrinkling/wrinkles in the image and non-image sections, due to the
irregular stacking table on the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL-106 machine. It can be
concluded that the process of printing the Al-Quran using the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL�106 machine at PT Macananjaya Cemerlang can produce good results if the machine
operator can be alert to problems that occur during production and perform regular
machine maintenance.

Cetak ofset adalah proses cetak tidak langsung, artinya peralihan tinta dari acuan cetak
tidak langsung mengenai bahan cetak, tetapi melalui media perantara yaitu silinder kain
karet (blanket cylinder) baru mengenai bahan cetak. Tujuan dari pengamatan ini adalah
mengetahui proses cetakan Al-Quran, mengetahui permasalahan saat produksi dan
bagaimana cara mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penyusunan tugas akhir ini adalah metode penulisan deskriptif karena metode ini bersifat
penjelasan dan memamparkan bagaimana proses cetak Al-Quran dengan menggunakan
mesin Heidelberg speedmaster XL-106. Adapun masalah yang terjadi pada masing-masing
unit berdasarkan hasil pengamatan adalah lembaran mengalami mis register/doubling
dibagian cetakan, cetakan mengalami wrinkling/keriput dibagian gambar maupun non
gambar, dikarenakan meja penumpuk tidak teratur pada mesin Heidelberg Speedmaster
XL-106. Dapat disimpulkan proses cetak Al-Quran dengan menggunakan mesin
Heidelberg Speedmaster XL-106 di PT Macananjaya Cemerlang dapat menghasilkan yang
baik apabila operator mesin dapat sigap dengan masalah yang terjadi pada saat produksi
dan melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala.
