PENYUNTINGAN MEKANIS NASKAH BILINGUAL BUKU ANAK "MIKO & RUPIAH" BERDASARKAN TAHAPAN PENYUNTINGAN DAN TATARAN BAHASA

The final work that the author and the team will produce is a bilingual children's book with the theme of introducing finance and the Indonesian currency. In its preparation, the author will act as a script editor. Based on the role in making the work, the author will compile the final project with the title Bilingual Editing of the Children's Book Manuscript "Miko & Rupiah". The literature review that the author uses is the theory of Eneste (2017), Trim (2017), Saefuddin (2021), and the theory of language. In this final project, the author uses the descriptive method with the following work steps: 1) In the pre-editing stage, the editor skims and checks the completeness of the manuscript, 2) the editing stage, the writer dissects the manuscript from a mechanical, substantive, and image editing perspective, 3) After editing, the author re-checked the completeness of the manuscript as a whole. After going through a series of editing processes the bilingual manuscript of the children's book "Miko & Rupiah" was fit for publication.

Karya tugas akhir yang akan penulis dan tim hasilkan adalah naskah bilingual buku anak bertemakan pengenalan finansial dan mata uang Indonesia. Pada penyusunannya, penulis akan berperan sebagai penyunting naskah. Berdasarkan peran dalam pembuatan karya tersebut, penulis akan menyusun tugas akhir dengan judul Penyuntingan Bilingual Naskah Buku Anak “Miko & Rupiah”. Tinjauan pustaka yang penulis gunakan adalah teori Eneste (2017), Trim (2017), Saefuddin (2021), dan teori kebahasaan. Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan langkah kerja sebagai berikut: 1) Pada tahap Pra Penyuntingan, penyunting membaca sepintas dan memeriksa kelengkapan naskah, 2) tahap Penyuntingan, penulis membedah naskah dari segi mekanis, substansif, dan penyuntingan gambar, 3) Pasca Penyuntingan, penulis memeriksa kembali kelengkapan naskah secara keseluruhan. Setelah melalui serangkaian proses penyuntingan naskah bilingual buku anak “Miko & Rupiah” layak untuk diterbitkan.
