PENGEMBANGAN WEBSITE SMAN 1 NYALINDUNG BERBASIS WORDPRESS

Salah satu perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam dunia Pendidikan adalah
penggunaan website sekolah sebagai media informasi. Akan tetapi website yang dimiliki
sekolah belum bisa digunakan secara optimal karena masih memerlukan perbaikan dan
pengembangan dari berbagai segi seperti UI/UX dan performa website itu sendiri.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan website sekolah di SMAN 1 Nyalindung.
Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D). Tahapan
pengembangan dalam penelitian ini diawali dengan menganalisis kebutuhan, merancang
draft produk, pengembangan website menggunakan Wordpress dan Uji coba produk
menggunakan user acceptance testing (UAT), GT Metrix dan Page speed. Adapun
pengembangan pada website SMAN 1 Nyalindung meliputi, pengembangan UI/UX,
penambahan fitur chat, optimalisasi website, dan optimalisasi SEO. Berdasarkan hasil
penelitian dapat simpulkan bahwa pengembangan website SMAN 1 Nyalindung
menggunakan Wordpress ini berhasil. Keberhasilan produk itu di tunjukkan dari hasil uji
user acceptance testing (UAT) yang dilakukan oleh Tim IT sekolah. Hasil GT Metrix
menunjukan website ini termasuk dalam grade A dengan hasil uji Page speed adalah
peningkatan performa menjadi 91. Oleh karena itu website SMAN 1 Nyalindung saat ini
telah layak dan memenuhi standarisasi kelayakan website.

One of the developments in information technology in the world of education is the
use of school websites as a medium of information. However, the website owned by the
school cannot be used optimally because it still requires improvement and development in
various aspects such as UI / UX and the performance of the website itself. This study aims
to develop school websites at SMAN 1 Nyalindung. The method used is the Research and
Development (R&D) method. The development stage in this research begins with analyzing
needs, designing product drafts, website development using WordPress and product trials
using user acceptance testing (UAT), GT Metrix and Page speed. The development on the
SMAN 1 Nyalindung website includes, UI / UX development, adding chat features, website
optimization, and SEO optimization. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded
that the development of the SMAN 1 Nyalindung website using WordPress is successful.
The success of the product was shown from the results of user acceptance testing (UAT)
tests conducted by the school's IT Team. GT Metrix results show that this website is
included in grade A with the Page speed test results are an increase in performance to 91.
Therefore, the SMAN 1 Nyalindung website is currently feasible and meets website
eligibility standards.
