Perancangan Desain Sampul dan Ilustrasi pada Novel "Infinitely Yours"

"Infinitely Yours" is a teen fiction novel book with chicklit genre. In this final project report, the author aims to create a cover design and illustration process for the "Infinitely Yours" novel. The problem that the author wants to overcome is how the process of making cover design and illustration in the novel Infinitely Yours. The purpose of this writing is how to design the cover design and illustrations in the novel Infinitely Yours. The design and illustration refer to Hendi Hendratman's theory of the stages of the cover design process while the stages of the illustration process refer to Salisbury's theory. This final project uses data collection techniques in the form of literature study. The stages of making using this theory begin with Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. The results of the cover design and illustration of the manuscript were printed into a book with a soft cover using 210 gram art cartoon paper, and the contents page using 70 gram book paper. Through literature study data collection techniques, a novel book entitled "Infiniyely Yours" was produced with a total of 175 pages and a target audience of 20 years and above.

“Infinitely Yours” merupakan buku novel fiksi remaja bergenre chicklit. Pada laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis bertujuan untuk menciptakan proses perancangan desain sampul dan ilustrasi naskah novel “Infinitely Yours”. Masalah yang ingin penulis atasi adalah bagaimana bagaimana proses pembuatan desain sampul dan ilustrasi pada novel Infinitely Yours. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah bagaimana perancangan desain sampul dan ilustrasi pada novel Infinitely Yours. Perancangan desain dan ilustrasi ini merujuk teori Hendi Hendratman tentang tahapan proses pembuatan desain sampul sedangkan tahapan proses ilustrasi merujuk teori Salisbury. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka. Tahapan pembuatan menggunakan teori ini dimulai dengan Pra Produksi, Produksi, dan Pasca Produksi. Hasil dari perancangan desain sampul dan ilustrasi naskah tersebut dicetak menjadi buku dengan sampul soft cover menggunakan kertas art cartoon 210 gram, dan halaman isi menggunakan kertas book paper 70 gram. Melalui teknik pengumpulan data studi pustaka, dihasilkan sebuah karya buku novel berjudul “Infiniyely Yours” dengan jumlah halaman 175 halaman dan target pembaca 20 tahun keatas.
