IDENTIFIKASI MASALAH KEMASAN DUPLEX PADA MESIN SPEED MASTER 74 DI PT GAYA SERASI INDONESIA

Kemampuan perusahaan dalam bersaing ditentukan oleh kemampuannya dalam mengatasi maslah. Masalah tersebut, khususnya misregister hasil cetak, juga menjadi tantangan PT Gaya Serasi Indonesia yang memproduksi kemasan karton duplex dengan mesein speed master 74. Penulis terlibat dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan mempelajarai proses produksinya dan mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah serta mengajukan solusi. Untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam dan penyelesaian masalah misregister hasil cetak, penulis menggunakan metoda wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Diketahui bahwa penyebab misregister garis disebabkan oleh kertas bergelombang dan system delivery tidak stabil. Misregister warna yang disebabkan oleh pergantian proses (desain 5 warna dicetak dimesin 4 warna) lebih disebabkan oleh faktor desain. Pemecahan masalahnya adalah memastikan mutu bahan cetak dan pengaturan system delivery yang stabil. Untuk misregister warna diatasi dengan memperbaiki desain dan pelatnya.

A company's ability to compete is determined by its ability to overcome problems. Such problems, especially print misregister, are also a challenge for PT Gaya Serasi Indonesia, which produces duplex carton packaging with a speed master 74 machine. The author was involved in overcoming the problem by studying the production process and identifying the causes of the problem and proposing solutions. To gain an in-depth understanding and resolution of the print misregister problem, the author used interview, observation and literature study methods. It was found that the cause of line misregister was caused by corrugated paper and unstable delivery system. Color misregister caused by process change (5-color design printed on 4-color machine) is more caused by design factors. The troubleshooting was to ensure the quality of the printing material and to set up a stable delivery system. Color misregister was solved by improving the design and plates.
