IDENTIFIKASI PERMASALAHAN DEFECT PADA KEMASAN ROKOK MENGGUNAKAN MESIN TECHNOCUT 1050S DI PT WAHYU ANUGRAH INTERNASIONAL

ABSTRAK
Die-cutting is the process of cutting to form a packaging pattern consisting of
perforations (patterns of tears), cutting (cuts) and creasing (folds). There is 1
machine used for die cutting and embossing processes. The embossing technique is
one of the techniques on the processing background. Embossing is a technique for
producing designs with an embossed effect on the surface of paper. Ivory type paper
is a combination of art paper and cardboard. Ivory paper has a smooth and shiny
surface, but only on one side. The purpose of writing this final project is to find out
the causes and solutions to the defect problem. The implementation method used is
observation, literature study and interviews. The problem of uncut defects is caused
by a blunt knife and an uneven knife surface, the problem of cracks on the die
cutting parts is caused by boards that contain dirt and the problem of mismatch in
the location of the emboss is caused by inaccuracies during installation, and the
quality of embossing is low. it's not good

Die-cutting adalah proses pemotongan agar membentuk pola kemasan yang terdiri
dari perforation (pola sobekan), cutting (potongan) dan creasing (lipatan). Terdapat
1 mesin yang digunakan untuk proses die cutting dan embos. Teknik emboss
merupakan salah satu teknik pada olah latar. Emboss adalah teknik untuk
menghasilkan desain dengan efek timbul pada permukaan kertas. Kertas jenis ivory
adalah kertas perpaduan artpaper dengan kertas karton. Kertas ivory memiliki
karakteristik permukaan yang halus dan mengkilat, tetapi hanya di satu sisi. Tujuan
dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab dan solusi dari
permasalahan defect. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, studi
Pustaka dan wawancara. Permasalahan defect tidak terpotong di sebabkan oleh
pisau yang tumpul dan permukaan pisau yang tidak rata, pada permasalahan retak
pada bagian die cutting disebabkan oleh papan yang terdapat kotoran serta pada
permasalahan ketidaksesuaian pada letak emboss di sebabkan oleh kurang telitinya
pada saat pemasangan, dan kualitas emboss yang sudah tidak bagus
