Abstract

ABSTRAK
The use of the Aida Press machine in the Piercing production process is to perforate each material of iron or frame. problems that are often found in the Man factor are the occurrence of forgetting the process or the material is less pushed which results in the position between hole to hole is not the same or not according to the working drawings. Knowing the cause of the piercing process problem has a defect in the results of the piercing process. The author conducts data collection by direct observation by understanding and understanding starting from the flow of the piercing process, problems that occur during production, gaining new knowledge and experience in the company.Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) is one method to reduce set-up time and can overcome problems in the Man factor. Knowing the cause of the piercing process problem has defects in the results of the piercing process, the cause is the lack of understanding of an operator who neglects to undergo each process of the piercing process which results in defects in the material, for example: the distance from 1 hole to another hole does not match, the material is dented because the operator is negligent in checking, and forgets the process during the process which results in the material not being perforated.

Kegunaan mesin press Aida pada proses produksi Piercing adalah untuk melubangi setiap material dari besi atau frame. Masalah yang seringkali timbul selama proses piercing pada faktor Man adalah terjadinya lupa proses atau material kurang dorong yang mengakibatkan posisi antara lubang ke lubang tidak sama atau tidak sesuai gambar kerja. Penulis melakukan pengumpulan data dengan pengamatan langsung untuk memahami dan mengerti mulai dari alur proses piercing, masalah yang terjadi ketika produksi, mendapatkan pengetahuan baru dan pengalaman di perusahaan.Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) adalah salah satu metode untuk mengurangi waktu set-up dan dapat mengatasi masalah pada faktor Man. Salah satu penyebab dari permasalahan proses piercing adalah kurangnya pemahaman dari seorang operator yang lalai menjalani setiap proses piercing sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya defect pada material seperti jarak dari 1 lubang ke lubang lainnya tidak sesuai, material penyok karena operator lalai dalam pengecekan, dan lupa proses sehingga mengakibatkan material tidak bolong.
