PERANCANGAN BUSANA KERJA CONVERTIBLE DENGAN APLIKASI TENUN GEDOG TUBAN UNTUK BRAND SAYRAY

The increasing number of labor force participation gives rise to an increase in the need for women's workwear. Career women need a fashion that can be used on a variety of occasions. Therefore, one of the efforts made is to conduct research with the design thingking method, the author designs convertible work clothes based on the results of surveys and observations made. The technique used for convertible workwear is modular clothing (unpaired) using the modular clothing technique, where each component can be adjusted independently so that it does not affect other components. This system can maximize the function of clothing products by arranging and changing several components with different combinations. Components that can be combined with modular techniques are usually found in the collar, sleeves, short length of clothing, For the material used, the majority choose cotton material as the main material for work clothes. Then the local wisdom that the author uses is gedog Tuban woven fabric as an effort to support the vision of the Sayray Brand. The results of the exploration produce women's workwear that can give several different looks. This research resulted in the creation of work clothes with a convertible design concept that can give a different look but not forgetting the main function of the clothing.

Meningkatnya jumlah partisipasi Angkatan kerja menimbulkan peningkatan kebutuhan pakaian kerja wanita. wanita karir memerlukan sebuah busana yang dapat digunakan dalam berbagai kesempatan. Oleh karena itu, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penelitian dengan metodee design thingking, penulis merancangan busana kerja convertible berdasarkan hasil survei dan observasi yang dilakukan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk busana kerja convertible yaitu modular clothing (lepas pasang) dengan menggunakan teknik modular clothing, dimana masing-masing komponen dapat disesuaikan secara independent sehingga tidak mempengaruhi komponen lainnya. Sistem ini dapat memaksimalkan fungsi produk pakaian dengan menata dan mengubah beberapa komponen dengan kombinasi yang berbeda. Komponen yang dapat dikombinasikan dengan teknik modular biasanya terdapat pada bagian kerah, lengan, panjang pendeknya pakaian, Untuk bahan yang dipakai, mayoritas memilih material katun sebagai material utama untuk busana kerja. Kemudian kearifan lokal yang penulis gunakan yaitu kain tenun gedog Tuban sebagai upaya mendukung visi Brand Sayray. Hasil eksplorasi menghasilkan busana kerja wanita yang dapat memberikan beberapa tampilan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menghasilkan penciptaan busana kerja dengan konsep desain convertible yang dapat memberikan tampilan berbeda namun tidak melupakan fungsi utama dari busana tersebut.
