Perancangan Sampul Dan Tata Letak Pada Naskah Novel “Rindu Menjadi Abu”

"Rindu Menjadi Abu" is a romantic-themed teen fiction novel. In this final project report, the author aims to create a cover design process and manuscript layout for the novel "Rindu Menjadi Abu". To achieve this goal, the author refers to Hendratman's theory in the book Computer Graphics Design, including Finding Creative Ideas, Finding Information Needs, Creating Frameworks, Data Processing, Visualization, and Post-Production. The results of the cover design and layout of the manuscript were printed into a book with a soft cover using 210 gram art cartoon paper, and the contents page using 70 gram book paper. The creation of this cover design and layout is to create a novel book "Rindu Menjadi Abu" that can increase reading interest, especially teenagers and add to the variety of teen novel books that are included with illustrations. It can be concluded that in the process of designing the cover and layout of the novel manuscript "Rindu Menjadi Abu", the author must perform various stages in order to produce a good and precise cover and layout design.

“Rindu Menjadi Abu” merupakan buku novel fiksi remaja bertema romantis. Pada laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis bertujuan untuk menciptakan proses perancangan sampul dan tata letak naskah novel “Rindu Menjadi Abu”. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penulis merujuk teori Hendratman dalam buku Computer Graphics Design, antara lain Mencari Ide Kreatif, Mencari Informasi Kebutuhan, Membuat Kerangka Kerja, Olah Data, Visualisasi, dan Pasca Produksi. Hasil dari perancangan sampul dan tata letak naskah tersebut dicetak menjadi buku dengan sampul soft cover menggunakan kertas art cartoon 210 gram, dan halaman isi menggunakan kertas book paper 70 gram. Dibuatnya perancangan sampul dan tata letak ini untuk menciptakan sebuah buku novel “Rindu Menjadi Abu” yang dapat menambah minat baca khususnya remaja dan menambah variasi buku novel remaja yang disertakan dengan ilustrasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam proses perancangan sampul dan tata letak naskah novel "Rindu Menjadi Abu", penulis harus melakukan berbagai tahap guna menghasilkan desain sampul dan tata letak dengan baik dan tepat.
