IDENTIFIKASI CACAT PRODUK SP MET PADA PROSES EXTRUSION LAMINATION DI PT INDOFOOD CBP SUKSES MAKMUR TBK

ABSTRAK
Product defects are problems that occur in products in the production process. Product defects can affect the production process and productivity of the company. Focusing on checking the extrusion lamination process of SP Met (Sauce Powder Metalize) packaging, in this product there are still frequent problems. The author discusses this problem because of the high sorting value of SP Met (Sauce Powder Metalize) packaging in the lamination extrusion process with the aim of finding causative factors and finding solutions to problems, so that product defects can be reduced. The methods used in this writing are observation, interview, and literature study methods. Every production process will go through the quality control checking stage, so that the product can comply with the standards that have been set, at this checking stage product defects are usually found and problems are immediately corrected. Problems commonly found in SP Met (sauce powder metalize) packaging are thickness variations, laminated wrinkles, laminated berets, shrinks and stretches. The cause of the occurrence of product defects is that the parameters used do not comply with the provisions of the established standards.

Cacat produk merupakan masalah yang terjadi pada produk dalam proses produksi. Cacat produk dapat mempengaruhi proses produksi dan produktivitas perusahaan. Berfokus pada pengecekan proses extrusion lamination kemasan SP Met (Sauce Powder Metalize), pada produk ini masih sering terjadi masalah. Penulis membahas masalah ini karena tingginya nilai sortir kemasan SP Met (Sauce Powder Metalize) pada proses extrusion lamination dengan tujuan mencari faktor penyebab dan menemukan solusi dari masalah, sehingga cacat produk dapat berkurang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Setiap proses produksi akan melewati tahap pengecekan quality control, agar produk bisa sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditetapkan, pada tahap pengecekan ini cacat produk biasanya ditemukan dan masalah langsung diperbaiki. Masalah yang biasa ditemukan pada kemasan SP Met (sauce powder metalize) adalah thickness variasi, kerut laminasi, baret laminasi, ciut dan mulur. Penyebab terjadinya cacat produk adalah parameter yang digunakan tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan standar yang di tetapkan. Solusi untuk memperbaiki
masalah tersebut dengan memperhatikan standar parameter yang digunakan saat proses produksi, melakukan perbaikan pada komponen yang bermasalah dan melakukan sampling pengecekan dengan rutin saat proses perbaikan sudah dilakukan.
