ABSTRAK

The design of the Rumah Bolon Illustration Book as a Class 5 Learning Media at SD Negeri 173417 Pollung, the aim is to complete the learning needs in Regional Language subjects. Children's education is very important, one of which is teaching what is happening around their respective environment. Therefore the author raises the object of the Final Project's work regarding the culture that surrounds the problem. Therefore the author made the object of his final project in the form of an illustrated book designed in Adobe Illustrator software, with an illustration style that is Vector and printed with a size of 48x21 cm with the initial stages of making sketches, layouts, typography and colors with covers using TIK laminating paper. As for the literature review of the preparation of this final project, namely design, sketches, graphic design, books, learning media, typography, layouts, bolon houses and finally journal references from . The methods that the authors use in discussing this Final Project are observation, literature study, and interviews. The conclusion from writing this final project is that when making the final project it is important to emphasize clear delivery so that it can be conveyed to the target problem and the final stage after going through various work processes, the finished result becomes a learning media book for class 5 SD Negeri 173417 Pollung.

Perancangan Buku Ilustrasi Rumah Bolon Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Kelas 5 SD Negeri 173417 Pollung, tujuannya untuk melengkapi kebutuhan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Daerah. Pendidikan anak sangatlah penting, salah satunya mengajarkan apa yang terjadi disekitar lingkungan masing-masing. Maka dari itu penulis mengangkat objek karya Tugas Akhir berupa buku ilustrasi yang di rancang pada software Adobe Ilustrator, dengan style ilustrasi yaitu Vektor dan dicetak dengan ukuran 48x21 cm dengan tahap awal membuat sketsa, layout, tipografi dan pewarnaan menggunakan teknik eyedrop dengan cover menggunakan kertas TIK laminating. Adapun tinjauan pustaka dari penyusunan tugas akhir dari jurnal Etnometika Pada Rumah Bolon tahun 2022 oleh mahasiswa Rezeki Noris Pane dan Martina Abigail Isabella Sihotang dari Universitas Uiversitas Negeri Semarang. Adapun metode yang penulis gunakan pada pembahasan Tugas Akhir ini yaitu observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Kesimpulan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini yaitu pada saat membuat karya tugas akhir penting untuk menekankan penyampaian yang jelas supaya mampu tersampaikan pada target permasalahan dan tahap akhir setelah melewati berbagai proses pengerjaan, hasil jadi menjadi sebuah buku media pembelajaran untuk kelas 5 SD Negeri 173417 Pollung.
