Identifikasi Watermark dan Countermark pada Kertas Inventaris Residensi Semarang Di Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI)

In the current era of globalization, the development of technology and electronic media has advanced rapidly. The inventory of Semarang residency archives began in the period of 1818-1880. There are distinct characteristics of watermark and countermark on the paper of the Semarang Residency Archives Inventory as authentication of the documents. The objective of this final project is to determine the parameters observed in the watermark and countermark authentication process of the paper in the Semarang Residency Archives Inventory from the period of 1818-1880, as well as to identify the information that can be obtained from these observed parameters. The data collection techniques used include observation, documentation, testing, and literature review.
The results obtained from the identification of watermark and countermark on the paper of the Semarang residency archives inventory include three observable parameters: shape, size, and distance between the nearest line columns in the watermark. Additionally, from the three observed parameters, information related to the content, paper manufacturer, production time, paper size, physical condition of the paper, archival usage location, paper type, time of paper usage for archiving, watermark shape, watermark position on the paper, countermark motif, countermark position on the archival paper, and distance between the nearest line columns in the watermark can be determined. Pada era globalisasi saat ini, perkembangan teknologi dan media elektronik sudah semakin maju dengan pesat. Inventaris arsip residensi semarang dimulai pada era 1818-1880. Terrdapat ciri khas watermark dan countermark Pada kertas Inventaris Arsip Semarang sebagai keautentikasian dokumen tersebut. Adapun tujuan daripada tugas akhir ini yaitu untuk menentukan parameter apa saja yang diamati pada proses autentikasi watermark dan countermark kertas Arsip Inventaris Residensi Semarang era 1818-1880 serta untuk mengetahui informasi yang dapat diperoleh dari parameter yang diamati tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi beberapa metode yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, pengujian dan studi pustaka.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari identifikasi watermark dan countermark pada kertas arsip inventaris residensi semarang yaitu terdapat tiga parameter yang dapat diamati meliputi bentuk, ukuran, jarak antara kolom garis yang berada terdekat pada watermark.Selain itu dari tiga parameter yang telah diamati dapat diketahui informasi terkait isi pembahasan, pabrik kertas,waktu produksi,ukuran kertas,kondisi fisik kertas,lokasi penggunaan arsip,jenis kertas,waktu penggunaan kertas untuk arsip,bentuk watermark,posisi watermark pada kertas,motif countermark,posisi countermark pada kertas arsip, dan jarak antara kolom garis yang berada terdekat pada watermark.
