IDENTIFIKASI MASALAH MISS REGISTER PADA PROSES CETAK BUKU DENGAN MESIN WEB GLOBAL TYPE G145 DI PT TEMPRINT

ABSTRAK

Miss register is a problem of inaccuracy between one color and another. Miss register is a problem that often occurs in the book printing process on the G145 global web machine. This problem can affect the company's production process and productivity because it disrupts the production process time. This discussion is focused on finding out the causes of miss registers and solutions to overcome these problems in the book printing process so as to reduce the occurrence of miss registers and the production process can run well. In looking for factors that cause miss registers, the authors use observation and interview methods for data collection, and use fishbone diagrams and 5W+1H to identify problems. It is known that the causes of miss registers are caused by machine, human, material and method factors. The solution for handling miss registers is by setting machine parameters, paying attention to the quality standards of the materials used, installing plates according to the position of the plate cylinders, and carrying out periodic engine maintenance so that the miss register problem can be resolved.

Miss register merupakan masalah ketidaktepatan antara warna satu dengan yang lainnya. Miss register ini merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi pada proses produksi cetak buku di mesin web global G145. Masalah tersebut dapat mempengaruhi proses produksi dan produktivitas perusahaan karena mengganggu waktu proses produksi. Pembahasan ini berfokus untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya miss register dan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut pada proses cetak buku sehingga mengurangi terjadinya permasalahan miss register dan proses produksi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Dalam mencari faktor penyebab miss register, penulis menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara untuk pengumpulan data, serta menggunakan diagram fishbone dan 5W+1H untuk mengidentifikasi masalah tersebut. Diketahui penyebab terjadinya masalah miss register disebabkan oleh faktor mesin, manusia, material dan metode. Solusi dalam menangani miss register dengan cara mengatur parameter mesin, memperhatikan standar kualitas material yang digunakan, melakukan pemasangan pelat sesuai pada posisi silinder pelat, dan melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala sehingga masalah miss register dapat teratasi.
