The children's book "The Excitement of Playing Basketball" is a book that the author and team produced as a final project work in the Publishing Study Program. The final work that the author and team produced is a children's fiction book with the theme of basketball which is packed with fun game elements. In its preparation, the author will act as an editor. Based on this role, the author will compile the final project with the title "Editing a Children's Book "The Excitement of Playing Basketball". In this final assignment, the author will use a descriptive method with the following work steps: (1) Identifying the problem, (2) Formulating the problem, (3) Determining the aims and benefits of the research, (4) Selecting data, (6) Analyzing data, and (7) compiling the results of research conclusions. Through a series of editing processes that the author has completed on the manuscript of the children's book "The Excitement of Playing Basketball". The author concludes that the manuscript of the children's book "The Excitement of Playing Basketball" is complete and suitable for publication.

Buku anak “Serunya Bermain Basket” merupakan buku yang penulis dan tim hasilkan untuk menjadi karya tugas akhir pada Program Studi Penerbitan. Karya tugas akhir yang penulis dan tim hasilkan adalah buku fiksi anak bertemakan olahraga bola basket yang dikemas dengan unsur permainan yang menyenangkan. Pada penyusunannya, penulis akan berperan sebagai penyunting. Berdasarkan peran tersebut, penulis akan menyusun tugas akhir dengan judul “Penyuntingan Buku Anak "Serunya Bermain Basket". Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis akan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan langkah kerja sebagai berikut: (1) Mengidentifikasi masalah, (2) Membuat rumusan masalah, (3) Menentukan tujuan dan manfaat penelitian, (4) Memilih data, (6) Menganalisis data, dan (7) Menyusun hasil kesimpulan penelitian. Melalui serangkaian proses penyuntingan yang telah penulis selesaikan pada naskah buku anak “Serunya Bermain Basket”. Penulis berkesimpulan bahwa naskah buku anak “Serunya Bermain Basket” telah lengkap dan layak untuk diterbitkan.
