DESAIN VISUAL STORYTELLING PADA FLIPPING BOOK BERTEMA “FOMO” SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SISWA SMAS BRIGJEND KATAMSO 2 MEDAN

In this era that is very dependent on technology, people are always updating all their activities by looking for and trying new things that have never existed in the universe. FoMO is a natural trait possessed by humans, especially children aged teenagers to not want to miss new trends and have a high sense of belonging. There are many different types of FoMO that are present in the community, such as the current youth fashion style and the hottest topic of conversation in society today is the Coldplay concert. The nature of this FoMO has a very influential impact on teenagers in the future. Not only positive, the impact there is also a negative impact. For this reason, the author made this title so that the author can provide an overview and teachings to remind the child not to be too affected by the nature of FoMO. The author made this work which was implemented in the form of a flipping book as a medium for their learning, especially for class XII SMAS Brigjend Katamso 2 Medan to improve the quality and quality of children's learning. Besides that, with the learning method that has been made, which is based on flipping books, it will be more interesting and not monotonous in its delivery. The author can conclude that the importance of a learning method that is given to teenagers so that they want to understand and they can apply it to everyday life.

Di era teknologi yang serba canggih ini, masyarakat selalu memperbaharui segala aktivitas mereka dengan mencari dan mencoba hal-hal baru yang belum pernah ada pada alam semesta. FoMO adalah sifat alami yang dimiliki manusia khususnya anak seusia remaja untuk tidak ingin ketinggalan tren baru dan rasa ingin memiliki yang tinggi. Banyak beragam jenis FoMO yang hadir di tengah masyarakat seperti gaya fashion style remaja yang kekinian dan yang paling hangat jadi perbincangan masyarakat saat ini adalah konser Coldplay. Sifat FoMO ini memiliki dampak yang sangat berpengaruh bagi anak remaja kedepannya. Tidak hanya positif, dampak yang ditimbulkan juga ada yang berdampak negatif. Untuk itu penulis membuat judul ini agar penulis dapat memberi gambaran dan ajaran untuk mengingatkan sang anak agar tidak terlalu terpengaruh dengan sifat FoMO. Penulis membuat karya ini yang diimplementasikan kedalam bentuk flipping book sebagai media pembelajaran mereka terkhususnya siswa kelas XII SMAS Brigjend Katamso 2 Medan guna meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas anak dalam belajar. Disamping itu, dengan metode pembelajaran yang telah dibuat yaitu berbasis flipping book akan menjadi lebih menarik dan tidak terlalu monoton dalam penyampaiannya. Penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa pentingnya suatu metode pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada anak remaja agar mereka mau memahami dan dapat mereka terapkan kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
