Pengaruh Corona Treatment Terhadap Sifat Fisik Plastik LLDPE Kemasan Saset Pewangi

Corona treater is one of the units that has an influence on the physical properties of LLDPE sachets of fragrance packaging. The purpose of writing this final project is to observe the effect of the corona treater on the physical properties of LLDPE sachet packaging with fragrance, by testing the Wetting tension test mixture and testing the Sealing strength. The method used is the method of interviews and observations conducted at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. And the literature review method in related articles. The results of the Sealing strength test on the LLDPE surface affected by the Corona treater were 1688.91 gf/15mm, while the surface not affected by the Corona treater was 1788.26 gf/15mm. Meanwhile, the results of the Wetting tension test mixture for surfaces
affected by the Corona treater have a higher adhesive strength value than surfaces that are not affected by the Corona treater.

Corona treater adalah salah satu unit yang memberikan pengaruh pada sifat fisik LLDPE kemasan saset pewangi. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan mengamati pengaruh corona treater terhadap sifat fisik LLDPE kemasan saset pewangi, dengan melakukan pengujian Wetting tension test mixture dan pengujian Sealing strength. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode wawancara serta observasi yang dilakukan di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Dan metode tinjauan pustaka pada artikel terkait. Pada hasil pengujian Sealing strength pada permukaan LLDPE yang terkena Corona treater bernilai 1688.91 gf/15mm, sedangkan permukaan yang tidak terkena Corona treater adalah 1788.26 gf/15mm. Sedangkan hasil pengujian Wetting tension test mixture untuk permukaan yang terkena Corona treater memiliki nilai kekuatan kerekatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan permukaan yang tidak terkena Corona treater.
