Abstract

Since 1998, the Indonesian television industry has experienced rapid development with the emergence of private channels offering a diverse range of content. Technological advancements have also transformed media consumption through digital platforms and social media. Entertainment programs such as reality shows, sitcoms, dramas, and quiz shows have become increasingly popular. However, reality shows focused on matchmaking are still rare in Indonesia due to cultural differences with Western norms, where many reality programs feature dating themes. There is a growing interest in creating programs that align with Indonesian viewers' preferences, emphasizing communication and romantic aspirations. This thesis will discuss the role of the producer in Human Resource Management for the multi-camera reality program "Pick Me!". Reality programs are closely related to the nature of the participants, which is crucial for making the show engaging. The producer plays a vital role in developing these programs to align with viewers' cultural sensitivities and preferences, creating a unique and captivating approach to participant communication.

Sejak tahun 1998, industri televisi Indonesia mengalami perkembangan pesat dengan munculnya saluran swasta yang menawarkan beragam konten. Kemajuan teknologi juga mengubah konsumsi media melalui platform digital dan media sosial. Program-program hiburan seperti reality show, sitkom, drama, dan kuis semakin populer. Namun, reality show bertema pencarian jodoh masih jarang di Indonesia karena perbedaan budaya dengan norma-norma Barat yang sudah banyak membuat program realita dengan tema pencarian jodoh. Minat untuk menciptakan program-program yang sesuai dengan selera penonton Indonesia, yang mengangkat tema komunikasi dan harapan romantis, semakin meningkat. Tugas akhir ini akan membahas tentang peran produser Dalam Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Pada program realita multi camera “Pick Me!”. Program realita sendiri yang erat kaitannya pada pada sifat para pemain agar program menarik. Produser memainkan peran penting dalam mengembangkan programprogram ini agar sesuai dengan preferensi dan sensitivitas budaya penonton dengan membuat program realita yang akan memfokuskan komunikasi peserta program dengan cara yang unik dan menarik.
