IDENTIFIKASI MASALAH COUNTER PADA PROSES SLITTING UNTUK PRODUK KEMASAN MIE INSTAN DI PT INDOFOOD CBP SUKSES MAKMUR TBK DIVISI FLEXIBLE PACKAGING

ABSTRAK

The process of making instant noodle packaging goes through several stages, namely, printing, lamination, slitting, and packing. At the slitting stage, the instant noodle packaging is cut into smaller rolls according to the number of UP and the length of each FG roll is in accordance with the standard specifications. In the cutting process, it was found that the total length of instant noodle packaging was not balanced between input (WIP) and output (FG), which reduced the output or yield of instant noodle packaging. Therefore, this study aims to identify the cause of the difference in the number of counters in the slitting process and provide suggestions as a reference for PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk flexible packaging division to be able to reduce or even overcome these problems. The method used is the literature study method derived from several journals and books, the interview method, the observation method with direct observation.

Proses pembuatan kemasan mie instan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu, printing, laminasi, slitting, dan packing. Pada tahap slitting kemasan mie instan dipotong untuk menjadi roll yang lebih kecil lagi sesuai jumlah UP nya dan panjang setiap roll FG sesuai dengan standar spesifikasinya. Dalam proses pemotongan itu ternyata banyak ditemukan bahwa jumlah panjang kemasan mie instan tidak balance antara input (WIP) dengan output (FG), yang membuat output atau hasil dari kemasan mie instan berkurang. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya perbedaan jumlah counter yang ada pada proses slitting serta memberikan saran sebagai referensi PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Divisi flexible packaging untuk dapat mengurangi atau bahkan mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode studi kepustakaan yang berasal dari beberapa jurnal, dan buku, metode wawancara, metode observasi dengan pengamatan langsung.
