PERAN PENATA KAMERA DALAM PROGRAM DOKUMENTER TELEVISI : “WARISAN LELUHUR” EPISODE TARI TOPENG CIREBON

This final project discusses about knowing how the camera stylists in making television programs with a documentary format called Heritage Ancestors with the title in the first episode the art of "Topeng Cirebon". The camera stylist designs the pre-production program shooting in detail and monitors production and post- production activities to match the predetermined results, the authors choose to use data collection techniques through interview research and questionnaires where the authors obtain and collect all relevant information and data, Get reference shots from several documents in the form of writing or in the form of audio-visual. With the information that the author gets, the author applies it to the process of making television documentaries as a camera stylist in order to produce works that are useful for the audience. From the discussion, it can be concluded that a camera stylist in the production of a television documentary has an important role, where a camera stylist holds great responsibility for the ongoing production of a production to run effectively and efficiently.
Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang mengetahui bagaimana penata kamera dalam pembuatan program televisi dengan format dokumenter yang bernama Warisan Leluhur dengan judul pada episode pertama yaitu kesenian “Topeng Cirebon”. Penata kamera merancang pengambilan gambar program pada pra produksi secara detail dan memantau kegiatan produksi dan pasca produksi agar sesuai dengan hasil yang sudah ditentukan, penulis memilih untuk menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui riset wawancara dan questioner dimana penulis mendapatkan dan mengumpulkan segala informasi dan data yang relevan, mendapatkan reverensi shoot dari beberapa dokumen berbentuk tulisan maupun berbentuk audio-visual. Dengan informasi yang penulis dapatkan, penulis menerapakan pada proses pembuatan dokumenter televisi sebagai seorang penata kamera agar dapat menghasilkan karya yang bermanfaat untuk penonton. Dari pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa seorang penata kamera dalam produksi sebuah dokumenter televisi memiliki peran penting, dimana seorang penata kamera memegang tanggung jawab besar terhadap berlangsungnya sebuah produksi agar berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.
