Abstract
The development of social media has opened significant opportunities for
visual designers to promote their work and effectively build brand
awareness. The Jakarta Journey portal on Instagram is an example of an
initiative that leverages digital platforms. This research focuses on visual
design for the Jakarta Journey portal on Instagram with the aim of building
brand awareness. It also involves analyzing effective visual design
strategies on the Instagram platform, including the use of colors,
typography, images, and other design elements that reflect the values and
vision of Jakarta Journey. Jakarta Journey is a news media outlet operating
in the realms of entertainment, sports, movies, travel, and music. In this
highly competitive digital era, it is crucial for news media to have a strong
and consistent visual identity to attract audience attention and build high
brand awareness. The results of this research are expected to provide visual
designs that are not only aesthetic but also functional, thereby it is
important to strengthening Jakarta Journey's.
Perkembangan media sosial telah membuka peluang besar bagi para
perancang visual untuk mempromosikan karya mereka dan membangun
brand awareness secara efektif. Portal Jakartajourney di Instagram
merupakan salah satu contoh inisiatif yang memanfaatkan platform digital.
Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan visual untuk portal Jakarta
Journey di Instagram dengan tujuan membangun brand awareness, yang
juga melibatkan analisis strategi desain visual yang efektif di platform
Instagram, termasuk penggunaan warna, tipografi, gambar, dan elemen
desain lainnya yang mencerminkan nilai dan visi dari Jakarta Journey..
Jakarta Journey merupakan media berita yang bergerak di ranah hiburan,
olahraga, film, liburan, dan musik. Dalam era digital yang sangat kompetitif
ini, penting bagi media berita untuk memiliki identitas visual yang kuat dan
konsisten guna menarik perhatian audiens dan membangun kesadaran
merek yang tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini tidak hanya estetis tetapi juga
fungsional, sehingga dapat memperkuat posisi Jakarta Journey.
