LAPORAN TUGAS AKHIR PERAN PRODUSER DALAM PROGRAM TELEVISI VARIETY SHOW “WHAT’S ON TODAY”

Music is something that will not fade with time, therefore the author chose music
as a topic on the television variety show What's on Today. This variety show
program provides entertainment, information and education. The author also uses
a literature review of several books and journal articles that discuss television
programs related to the author's role as a television variety show producer. In
making this program, the author is fully responsible for pre-production, production
and post-production. The author is in charge of setting the schedule, making budget
plans, finding sponsors and preparing accommodation. At the time of production,
the author prepares all the needs and oversees the production to fit the plan.
However, in carrying out the making of this program, the author encountered
several obstacles, such as the delay in the production schedule until it was difficult
to find a crew, especially editors.

Musik merupakan hal yang tak akan pudar dimakan waktu, maka dari itu penulis
memilih musik sebagai topik pada program acara televisi variety show What’s on
Today. Program variety show ini menyajikan hiburan, informasi serta edukasi.
Penulis juga menggunakan tinjauan pustaka dari beberapa buku serta artikel jurnal
yang membahas program televisi terkait dengan peran penulis sebagai produser
program televisi variety show. Dalam pembuatan program ini, penulis bertanggung
jawab penuh selama pra produksi, produksi hingga paska produksi. Penulis
bertugas untuk mengatur jadwal, membuat rancangan biaya, mencari sponsor serta
menyiapkan akomodasi. Pada saat produksi, penulis menyiapkan segala kebutuhan
serta mengawasi produksi agar sesuai dengan rencana. Namun dalam menjalankan
pembuatan program ini penulis mendapat beberapa hambatan seperti mundurnya
jadwal produksi sampai sulitnya mencari kru terutama editor.
