PROSES PENULISAN NASKAH NOVEL UNREQUITED

Unrequired novel script is a fiction script with a romance theme. This fiction novel is written based on a blend of imagination with the author's personal experience. This fiction novel is written using a type of diction based on its meaning, namely denotative and connotative. The type of denotative diction is the type of diction that has actual meaning, and the type of connotative diction is the type of diction whose meaning has emotional value. This report aims to explain the process of writing and applying the use of denotative and connotative types of diction in Unrequited novels. This report uses data collection techniques, namely surveys using google forms and literature studies that focus on library sources in collecting the data or information needed. In this report, it can be concluded that the Unrequited novel script is more dominant in using denotative diction than connotative diction.

Naskah novel Unrequired adalah naskah fiksi dengan tema romance. Naskah novel fiksi ini ditulis berdasarkan perpaduan antara imajinasi dengan pengalaman pribadi penulis. Naskah novel fiksi ini ditulis dengan menggunakan jenis diksi berdasarkan maknanya, yaitu denotatif dan konotatif. Jenis diksi denotatif adalah jenis diksi yang memiliki makna sebenarnya, dan jenis diksi konotatif adalah jenis diksi yang maknanya memiliki nilai emosional. Laporan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses menulis dan menerapkan penggunaan jenis diksi denotatif dan konotatif dalam naskah novel Unrequited. Laporan ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu survei dengan menggunakan google form dan studi kepustakaan yang menitikberatkan pada sumber kepustakaan dalam mengumpulkan data atau informasi yang di butuhkan. Pada laporan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa naskah novel Unrequited ini lebih dominan menggunakan jenis diksi denotatif dibandingkan dengan konotatif.
