PERAN PENATA KAMERA PADA DOKUMENTER TELEVISI "JEJAK KEHIDUPAN" EPISODE "OJEK GUNUNG GALUNGGUNG"

Documentary is a word that refers to something that is real, factual, or records the reality of events. Television documentaries come with a storytelling style in accordance with the wishes of the maker, using narration and musical illustrations to support visual images, having nuances and broad orientations, from cause to effect, as well as the process of events or events that occur. Documentary is an information program that presents a reality based on objective facts in society. The type of TV Documentary chosen is the Expository type because this type includes a narration (Voice over commentary), which is combined with a series of pictures, to make it more descriptive and informative. The author chose "Ojek Gunung Galunggung" as the title of the final project, wanting to describe the role of the camera stylist in this TV Documentary, and would like to give an implied message that there are still many professions in Indonesia that cannot be underestimated. In this TV documentary, the author acts as a camera engineer because he wants to implement what the author has learned for 3 years in the broadcasting field. Dokumenter merupakan kata yang mengarah pada sesuatu yang nyata, faktual, atau merekam realitas dari peristiwa. Dokumenter televisi hadir dengan bercerita sesuai dengan keinginan pembuatnnya, menggunakan narasi dan ilustrasi musik sebagai penunjang gambar visual, memiliki nuansa serta orientasi luas, mulai dari sebab sampai akibat, serta proses kejadian atau peristiwa yang terjadi. Dokumenter adalah program informasi yang menyajikan suatu kenyataan berdasarkan fakta objektif dalam masyarakat. Tipe Dokumenter TV yang dipilih adalah jenis Ekspository karena tipe ini memasukan narasi (Voice over commentary), yang di kombinasikan dengan serangkaian gambar, agar lebih deskriptif dan informatif. Penulis memilih “Ojek Gunung Galunggung” sebagai judul tugas akhir ingin mendeskripsikan peran penata kamera pada Dokumenter TV ini, serta ingin memberikan pesan tersirat bahwa masih banyak profesi di Indonesia yang tidak bisa dianggap sebelah mata. Pada Dokumenter TV ini penulis berperan sebagai penata kamera karena inging mengimplementasikan apa yang sudah penulis pelajari juga bertanggung jawab atas gambar yang ada pada produksi
