PERANCANGAN JAKET PROYEK DI CARTA STUDIO DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM MODULAR CLOTHING

Wearing personal protective equipment is an obligation that has also been approved by the government of the Republic of Indonesia. Personal protective clothing, must be able to provide effective protection for workers, to protect themselves from the types of hazards that will occur. In designing this final project, the author intends to make improvements to the design and product of the work in the Fashion Innovation Studio course in the sixth semester. In this design, the author collaborates with an Interior Design and Built-in Furniture Company in the city of Bandung, namely Carta Studio. Workers at Carta Studio still don't use a lot of special personal protective equipment in the form of project jackets. The purpose of writing this final project is to design personal protective equipment in the form of a project jacket using a modular clothing system for workers at Carta Studio so that they can have special jackets that are functional and according to their needs. In this design, the authors approach using the design thinking model of Hasso Platner from the Stanford Institute with the methods of literature study, interview observation, and questionnaires.

Memakai alat pelindung diri adalah suatu kewajiban yang juga telah di sepakati oleh pemerintah Republik Indonesia. Busana pelindung diri, harus dapat memberikan perlindungan efektif bagi pekerja, untuk melindungi dirinya dari jenis bahaya yang akan terjadi. Pada perancangan tugas akhir ini, penulis bermaksud untuk melakukan perbaikan desain dan produk dari karya di matakuliah Studio Inovasi Mode di semester enam. Pada perancangan ini, penulis bekerja sama dengan Perusahaan Desain Interior dan Furnitur Built-in di kota Bandung, yaitu Carta Studio. Pekerja di Carta Studio masih belum banyak menggunakan alat pelindung diri khusus berupa jaket proyek. Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah merancang busana alat pelindung diri berupa jaket proyek dengan menggunakan sistem modular clothing untuk pekerja di Carta Studio agar dapat memiliki jaket khusus yang fungsional dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Dalam perancangan ini, penulis melakukan pendekatan dengan menggunakan design thinking model Hasso Platner dari Institue Stanford dengan metode studi literatur, observasi wawancara, dan kuesioner.
