PERANCANGAN VIDEO INFOGRAFIS TENTANG HIU DAN UBUR-UBUR PADA SEAWORLD ANCOL

Sea World Ancol is a tourist attraction that also provides education for visitors. This place is popular among the public because they can see tens of thousands of marine and freshwater biota. To support its educational goal, Sea World Ancol provides various educational media containing related information, which is unfortunately incomplete and not interesting. The pandemic adds to the gloom in a section that should receive a lot of attention from visitors. This study aims to revive and improve the quality of educational media through the creation of infographic videos as a new educational medium at Sea World Ancol. The methods used to complete this final project include field observations, interviews, and questionnaires at Sea World Ancol. From these results, it comes to the conclusion to discuss sharks and jellyfish. Sharks are very popular animals, but there is very little information about sharks. On the other hand, jellyfish are a type that rarely gets attention, so there is little information about jellyfish. The expected result is the availability of more effective, interesting, and complete educational media for sharks and jellyfish.

Sea World Ancol merupakan objek wisata yang juga memberikan edukasi bagi
pengunjung. Tempat ini populer di kalangan masyarakat karena di sini pengunjung
dapat melihat belasan ribu biota laut dan air tawar. Untuk mendukung misi
edukasinya, Sea World Ancol menyediakan berbagai media edukasi berisi
informasi-informasi terkaitnya, yang sayangnya tidak lengkap dan kurang menarik.
Pandemi menambah kesuraman di bagian yang seharusnya menerima banyak
perhatian dari pengunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghidupkan kembali sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas media edukasi melalui pembuatan video infografis sebagai media edukasi baru di Sea World Ancol. Metode yang dilakukan untuk
menyelesaikan tugas akhir ini di antaranya adalah observasi lapangan, wawancara,
dan kuesioner kepada pihak Sea World Ancol. Dari hasil tersebut, sampailah pada
kesimpulan untuk membahas hiu dan ubur-ubur. Hiu merupakan hewan yang sangat populer, akan tetapi informasi terkait hiu sangat minim. Sementara ubur-ubur menjadi jenis yang jarang mendapat perhatian sehingga informasi terkait ubur-ubur terbilang sedikit. Hasil akhir yang diharapkan adalah tersedianya media edukasi hiu dan ubur-ubur yang lebih efektif, menarik, dan lengkap.
