Perancangan Buku Fiksi Anak "Mari Bersahabat"

“Mari Bersahabat” is a children's fiction book that has the theme of togetherness and mutual respect for differences that focuses on relationships within a group or environment. In relation to the process of making the book, in the final report, the author explains the process of designing the layout, design, and illustration of the book "Mari Bersahabat". The literature review used by the author is the theory of Hendratman (2015:22-32) and the theory of Soedarso (2016:566). In this final project, the author describes three stages for making cover designs and six stages for making the layout of the children's fiction script "Mari Bersahabat". The three stages in making an illustration are making a sketch, displaying the sketch on the monitor screen, and adding color and texture. There are six stages in making the layout, starting from looking for information needs, creating a framework, looking for creative ideas, data processing, visualization, and production. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the author uses illustrations, layouts, and font selection in the children's fiction book "Mari Bersahabat" is the right choice because readers, especially children, can more easily understand the fiction book, and can attract readers' reading interest.

“Mari Bersahabat” adalah buku fiksi anak yang memiliki tema kebersamaan dan saling menghargai perbedaan yang berfokus pada hubungan di dalam sebuah kelompok ataupun lingkungan. Berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan buku tersebut, dalam laporan tugas akhir, penulis menjelaskan proses perancangan tata letak, desain, dan ilustrasi buku “Mari Bersahabat”. Tinjauan Pustaka yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah teori Hendratman (2015:22-32) dan teori Soedarso (2016:566). Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis menjabarkan tiga tahapan untuk pembuatan desain sampul dan enam tahapan untuk pembuatan tata letak naskah fiksi anak “Mari Bersahabat”. Tiga tahapan dalam pembuatan ilustrasi yaitu membuat sketsa, menampilkan sketsa di layar monitor, dan menambahkan warna dan tekstur. Adapun enam tahapan dalam pembuatan tata letak mulai dari mencari informasi kebutuhan, membuat kerangka kerja, mencari ide kreatif, olah data, visualisasi, dan produksi. Berdasarkan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penulis menggunakan ilustrasi, tata letak, dan pemilihan jenis huruf dalam buku fiksi anak “Mari Bersahabat” merupakan pilihan yang tepat karena pembaca khususnya anak-anak dapat lebih mudah memahami buku fiksi tersebut, dan dapat menarik minat baca pembaca.
