Laporan Tugas Akhir Perancangan Desain Sampul dan Tata Letak Naskah “Sedarah Tak Searah

“Sedarah Tak Searah” is a novel type book that the author produces as a final
project in the Publishing Study Program. This manuscript was formed to pamper
the audience or people who have an interest in light fiction. Based on the process
of designing the cover design and layout in this final project report, the authors
designed the cover design and layout of the manuscript. Some of the literature
reviews used include Hendratman,. 2014. Computer Graphic Design, Iyan, 2007. Anatomy of a Book, Anggraini, Nathalia, 2014. Visual Communication Design. The writing methods that the authors use are observation, digital questionnaires, and literature studies. In this final project report, the author explains the stages of
designing the cover design and layout of the youth fiction novel. Based on the
discussion, it can be concluded that in designing the cover design and layout it
goes through several stages, namely pre-production, production, and post- production.
