Abstract

Melihat dari perkembangan teknologi yang cukup pesat dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, penulis berpikir apa yang akan terjadi di masa mendatang di kehidupan manusia dengan banyaknya teknologi-teknologi canggih yang bermunculan. Dalam pembuatan film animasi “Our Robo”, penulis menggunakan software Autodesk Maya 2019 dan beberapa software pendukung lainnya. Penulis bertugas sebagai, 3D character Modeler dengan metode subdivision, Rigger, 3D Animator, dan Lighting Render . Penulis berharap karya Tugas Akhir film pendek animasi “Our Robo” ini dapat memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya pendidikan, menghasilkan film pendek animasi yang dapat menghibur dengan pesan yang bermanfaat dengan alur cerita dan proses yang baik. Penulis dapat membuat rigging 3D charater modeling, dan penerapan prinsip animating pada film our robo ini dengan baik.

Judging at the rapid technology development in recent decades, the author thinks what will happen in the future in human life with the many advanced technologies that have emerged. In making the animated film Our Robo, the author uses the Autodesk Maya 2019 software and several other supporting software. Writing as, 3D Character Modeler with subdivision method, Rigger, 3D Animator, and Lighting Render. The author hopes that this Final Project of the animated short film "Our Robo" can provide insight into the importance of education, produce an animated short film that can entertain with useful messages with a good storyline and process. The author is able to make rigging 3D character modeling, and apply the principles of animating to our robo film well.
