Perancangan Busana Hamil untuk Pekerja dengan Kombinasi Batik Betawi pada Brand Elemwe

The increasing interest of customers in the Elemwe brand for maternity clothes motivates Elemwe to produce working clothes for pregnant women with a combination of Betawi batik Melati Gambir and Salak Condet motifs. Gaining weight in pregnant women also has an impact on body image due to physical changes. The purpose of the research was to create maternity clothes for Elemwe's prospective customers aged 20-35 years that do not hurt burn when worn using the exploration of the Melati Gambir and Salak Condet motifs. Maternity fashion clothing is designed for a woman’s pregnancy stage with a loose and comfortable design. The research method uses the design thinking approach of the Hasso Platner model which has five stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The data collection methods were literature studies, product observation at Elemwe, an interview with Mrs. Lily Mariasari as the owner of Elemwe, and a user questionnaire. The result of the research that has been done is the exploration of Melati Gambir and Salak Condet motifs and kerancang embroidery motifs as details for pregnant women aged 20-35 years used for working clothes. The design of maternity wear for workers with feminine casual style and minimalist arty look using batik tulis fabric and not making hurt burn when worn with 3 looks, namely 2 ready to wear clothes and 1 deluxe ready to wear clothes.

Meningkatnya minat pelanggan pada brand Elemwe terhadap baju hamil menjadikan Elemwe memproduksi baju kerja untuk wanita hamil dengan kombinasi batik Betawi dengan motif Melati Gambir dan Salak Condet, Bertambahnya berat badan pada wanita hamil pun berdampak pada citra tubuh atau body image karena perubahan fisik. Tujuan penelitian untuk menciptakan busana hamil untuk pekerja calon pelanggan Elemwe dengan usia 20-35 tahun yang tidak membuat hurtburn ketika dipakai yang menggunakan eksplorasi motif Melati Gambir dan Salak Condet. Busana hamil adalah pakaian yang dirancang khusus untuk tahap kehamilan kehidupan seorang wanita dengan desain yang longgar serta nyaman. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan perancangan design thinking model Hasso Platner yang memiliki lima tahapan emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu studi literatur, observasi produk di Elemwe, wawancara dengan ibu Lily Mariasari sebagai pemilik Elemwe serta kuesioner kepada user. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan yaitu eksplorasi motif Melati Gambir dan Salak Condet serta motif bordir kerancang sebagai detail untuk wanita hamil umur 20-35 tahun digunakan untuk busana kerja. Perancangan desain busana hamil untuk pekerja dengan style feminine casual dan look minimalist arty memakai kain batik tulis serta tidak membuat hurtburn ketika dipakai dengan 3 look yaitu 2 busana ready to wear dan 1 busana ready to wear deluxe.
