PENULISAN NASKAH BUKU ANAK “BERLIBUR KE KOTA UDANG” DENGAN MENERAPKAN TEKS NARASI EKSPOSITORIS

"Berlibur ke Kota Udang" is a children's information book about traditional food and games in Cirebon. It is motivated by the declining interest of children in traditional food and games. The purpose of writing this final project is to explain the creative process and the application of expository narrative text to the writing of a children's book manuscript about traditional games and food typical of Cirebon. In connection with this purpose, in this final project report, the author explains the steps of the author's creative process in applying expository narrative text to the script of the children's book "Berlibur ke Kota Udang". The main theory used in writing this report is Semi's theory (2021: 45) which describes three stages in writing, namely the pre-writing stage, the writing stage, and the post-writing stage. In addition, Jauhari's (2018: 17) theory on the application of expository narrative text is also used. The writing methods used were literature study, observation, and survey. In the discussion, 12 expository narrative texts and 4 suggestive narrative texts were found from 16 narrative texts in the "Berlibur ke Kota Udang" script. From the observation of the feasibility test of the manuscript, it was found that the three respondents aged 6-8 years understood and were interested in trying traditional games and food typical of Cirebon. Thus, the book manuscript "Berlibur ke Kota Udang" successfully applies expository narrative text according to its target audience.

“Berlibur ke Kota Udang” merupakan buku informasi anak mengenai makanan dan permainan tradisional daerah Cirebon. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya minat anak-anak terhadap makanan dan permainan tradisional. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini untuk menjelaskan proses kreatif dan penerapan teks narasi ekspositoris ke dalam penulisan naskah buku anak tentang permainan dan makanan tradisional khas Cirebon. Berkaitan dengan tujuan tersebut, dalam laporan tugas akhir ini penulis menjelaskan langkah proses kreatif penulis dalam menerapkan teks narasi ekspositoris pada naskah buku anak “Berlibur ke Kota Udang". Teori utama yang digunakan dalam penulisan laporan ini, yaitu teori Semi (2021: 45) yang menjabarkan tiga tahap dalam penulisan, yaitu tahap pratulis, tahap penulisan, dan tahap pascatulis. Selain itu, digunakan juga teori dari Jauhari (2018: 17) mengenai penerapan teks narasi ekspositoris. Metode penulisan yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka, observasi, dan survei. Pada pembahasan, ditemukan sebanyak 12 teks narasi ekspositoris dan 4 teks narasi sugestif dari 16 teks narasi yang ada dalam naskah "Berlibur ke Kota Udang". Dari hasil observasi uji kelayakan naskah, didapatkan data ketiga responden yang berusia 6-8 tahun paham dan tertarik untuk mencoba permainan dan makanan tradisional khas Cirebon. Dengan demikian, naskah buku “Berlibur ke Kota Udang” berhasil menerapkan teks narasi ekspositoris sesuai pembaca sasarannya.
