Perancangan Busana Modest Ready to wear untuk ibu menyusui

Breastfeeding is an activity that is important for the growth and health of mothers and children, according to research by Oxford University and the Institute for Social and Economic Research in 2010. However, it is not uncommon for breastfeeding mothers to feel uncomfortable when breastfeeding outside the home, because they feel that their breasts can be seen by others. Thus there is potential for the development of nursing clothing products that already have aprons because there are still very few suitable nursing clothing products on the market. Researchers approached 35 breastfeeding mothers who were doing activities outside the home to obtain information that would be used as a reference for making clothes. the researcher explored openings as a practical and comfortable access to breastfeeding, the researcher took D'amora Nursing Wear as a partner who assisted in production. The conclusion based on research that has been done, openings in nursing clothes should be on both parts of the breasts to make it easier and closed, aprons that are already on the pieces of clothing will make breastfeeding more efficient.

Kegiatan menyusui merupakan aktivitas yang penting untuk pertumbuhan dan kesehatan ibu dan anak, hasil penelitian Oxford University dan Institute for Social and Economic Research pada tahun 2010. Namun tak jarang, ibu menyusui merasa tidak nyaman saat memberikan ASI di luar rumah, karena merasa payudaranya bisa terlihat oleh orang lain. Dengan demikian terdapat potensi untuk pengembangan produk busana menyusui yang sudah terdapat aprone karena masih sangat jarang produk busana menyusui yang sesuai di pasaran. Peneliti melakukan pendekatan kepada 35 ibu menyusui yang sedang berkegiatan di luar rumah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akan dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk pembuatan busana. peneliti melakukan eksplorasi bukaan sebagai akses menyusui yang praktis dan nyaman, peneliti menggandeng D’amora Nursing Wear sebagai mitra yang membantu dalam produksi. Kesimpulan berdasarkan penelitian telah di lakukan, bukaan pada busana menyusui harus terdapat pada kedua bagian buah dada agar lebih mudah dan tertutup, aprone yang sudah terdapat pada potongan busana akan membuat ibu menyusui lebih efisien.
