Perancangan Busana Ready To Wear Untuk Meningkatkan Awareness Masyarakat Terhadap Skoliosis

There are still many people who are not familiar with and educated about scoliosis disease so that many people do not know that they have scoliosis, where the making of this scoliosis stilation motif can be applied to fashion, especially sporty casual clothing. The sporty casual style is not only used in sports activities but can also be used as a scoliosis education media for the community. Therefore, this research aims to explore the scoliosis stilation motif in sporty casual clothing. This research was conducted using qualitative methods and analysis through literature studies, interviews, exploring textile materials, and conducting market tests on the target market. This research produced sporty casual ready-to-wear clothing that applied scoliosis stilation motifs with printing techniques as a medium to educate the public about scoliosis to women who have scoliosis with a low degree of tilt who have the character to appear striking, dominant, extrovert, confident, like freedom, like to be the center of attention, and like to look unique. This research concludes that the application of scoliosis stilation motifs with printing techniques on ready-to-wear clothing can be used as an educational media for the public with a target market of 20-24 years old.

Masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengenal dan teredukasi terhadap penyakit skoliosis sehingga banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui bahwa dirinya mengalami skoliosis yang dimana pembuatan motif stilasi skoliosis ini dapat diterapkan kedalam fesyen khususnya busana sporty casual. Gaya sporty casual tidak hanya digunakan dalam kegiatan berolahraga tetapi juga dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi skoliosis untuk masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengeskplor motif stilasi skoliosis pada busana sporty casual. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif serta analisis melalui studi literatur, wawancara, melakukan metode eksplorasi pada bahan tekstil, dan melakukan tes pasar terhadap target pasar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan busana siap pakai bergaya sporty casual yang menerapkan motif stilasi skoliosis dengan teknik printing sebagai media untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terhadap skoliosis kepada wanita yang memiliki skoliosis dengan derajat kemiringan rendah yang memiliki karakter tampil mencolok, dominan, extrovert, percaya diri, menyukai kebebasan, senang menjadi pusat perhatian, dan senang terlihat unik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengaplikasian motif stilasi skoliosis dengan teknik printing pada busana siap pakai dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi untuk masyarakat dengan target market pada usia 20-24 tahun.
