Perancangan Busana Koleksi Ecoprint Modest Wear untuk "Sabira by RinaOshibana"

ABSTRAK
Sabira by Rina Oshibana is an MSME located in the Depok area of West Java, which was founded by Sri Alderina in 2018. Sabira by RinaOshibana is a UMKM engaged in the art of processing leaves and flowers as textile surface decorations using the ecoprint technique. Ecoprint is a technique for printing leaves on a cloth surface. One of the processes of the ecoprint technique is ecoprint mirroring, where the technique is done by steaming a sheet of cloth that has been rolled up with a pattern printing process using the mirror ecoprint technique or a glass effect motif. Since the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on for more than 2 years, Sabira has experienced a decline in sales to date. According to Ismanthono (2006:65), product diversification is an effort to increase sales with a variety of products through the development of new or existing products. Concern for the environment has also increased among millennials. Quoted from Nielsen through the Sustainable Shoppers report: Buy The Change Wish to see in The World found that Millennials (age 21-34) are interested in environmentally friendly products by 85%. Public enthusiasm is reflected in Google searches for the keyword "modest fashion" which has reached 149 million. That modest wear is a polite clothing concept that protects the curves of the body so they are not visible, this clothing can be worn by women who wear hijab or not. This research aims to design a modest wear ecoprint fashion collection to expand the market through product diversification. In this design, the authors used the design thinking approach with the Hasso Platner model from the Stanford Institute through literature studies, observations, interviews and questionnaires.

Sabira by Rina Oshibana adalah UMKM yang terletak di daerah Depok Jawa Barat, yang didirikan oleh Sri Alderina pada tahun 2018. Sabira by RinaOshibana merupakan salah satu UMKM yang bergerak dibidang seni mengolah daun dan bunga sebagai hiasan permukaan tekstil dengan teknik ecoprint. Ecoprint merupakan salah satu teknik mencetak daun pada permukaan kain. Salah satu proses teknik ecoprint adalah ecoprint mirroring,dimana teknik tersebut dilakukan dengan cara mengukus lembaran kain yang sudah digulung dengan proses pencetakan motif menggunakan teknik mirror ecoprint atau motif efek kaca. Sejak pandemi Covid-19 yang telah berlangsung selama 2 tahun lebih, Sabira mengalami penurunan penjualan hingga saat ini. Menurut Ismanthono (2006:65), diversifikasi produk adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan penjualan dengan keanekaragaman produk melalui pengembangan produk baru atau yang sudah ada. Kepedulian terhadap lingkungan juga meningkat dikalangan milenial. Dikutip dari Nielsen melalui laporan Sustainable Shoppers : Buy The Change Wish to see in The Worldmenemukan bahwa Milenial (usia 21-34) tertarik dengan produk ramah lingkungan sebesar 85%. Antusiasme publik tercermin dari pencarian Google untuk kata kunci “modest fashion” telah mencapai angkat 149 juta. Bahwa modest wear adalah konsep busana sopan yang melindungi lekuk tubuh agar tidak terlihat, busana ini dapat dikenakan oleh para wanita berhijab maupun tidak.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang koleksi busana ecoprint modest wearuntuk memperluas pasar melalui diversifikasi produk. Dalam perancangan ini, penulis menggunakan metode pendekatan design thingking dengan model Hasso Platner dari Institue Stanford melalui studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan kuisioner.
