PERANCANGAN SAMPUL DAN TATA LETAK NASKAH BUKU NOVEL “HARAPAN SEMU”

"Harapan Semu" is a fictional novel with the toxic relationship genre which will be used as the final product for the Publishing Study Program. In the final project report, the author explains the creative process of making the cover design and layout of the manuscript of the novel "Harapan Semu". Based on this role, the author will compile the final project with the title Designing the Cover Design and Layout of the Book Manuscript of the “Harapan Semu” Novel. The literature review that the author uses is (Putra, 2021) in designing the cover design. And in designing the layout the author uses theory (Hendratman, 2017). In this final project, the author will use an interactive method with the following work steps: (1) seeking creative ideas (2) seeking information needs (3) creating a framework (4) data processing (5) visualization and (6) production. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that novels go through several stages, namely pre-production, production, and production stages.

“Harapan Semu” adalah sebuah judul novel fiksi bergenre toxic relationship yang akan dijadikan sebagai produk tugas akhir untuk program studi penerbitan. Pada laporan tugas akhir, penulis menjelaskan mengenai proses kreatif membuat desain sampul dan tata letak pada naskah novel “Harapan Semu”. Berdasarkan peran tersebut, penulis akan menyusun tugas akhir dengan judul Perancangan Desain Sampul dan Tata letak naskah buku novel “Harapan Semu”. Tinjauan pustaka yang penulis gunakan adalah (Putra, 2021) pada perancangan desain sampul. Dan pada perancangan tata letak penulis menggunakan teori (Hendratman, 2017). Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis akan menggunakan metode interaktif dengan langkah kerja sebagai berikut: (1) mencari ide kreatif (2) mencari informasi kebutuhan (3) membuat kerangka kerja (4) olah data (5) visualisasi dan (6) produksi. Berdasarkan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku novel melewati beberapa tahapan, yaitu praproduksi, produksi, dan tahap produksi.
