Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Terhadap Prestasi Kerja Peserta Uji Sertifikasi Kompetensi Skema Room Attendant (Studi Kasus: Pada Unit Pusat Pelatihan Profesi Kepariwisataan, Dinas Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2022)

ABSTRACT

Self-efficacy is an important part of employee success in the workplace. Employees who excel will have a positive effect on the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of the independent variable, namely self-efficacy on the dependent variable, namely the work performance of the room attendant scheme competency certification test participants. While sampling using probability sampling method, with purposive sampling technique. Hotel employees who take the competency certification test have the same opportunity and are willing to fill in or choose the answers to the questions asked. To test the data from the results of respondents' answers through various tests, among others: validity and reliability. Data processing is done using univariate analysis (frequency data) and bivariate analysis (chi-square). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that self-efficacy (X) had a positive effect on work performance (Y) for participants in the room attendant scheme competency certification test with a p value <0.05. Based on the results of this research, companies need to pay attention to efforts to improve and maintain employee self-efficacy on an ongoing basis.

ABSTRAK

Efikasi diri menjadi bagian penting dari keberhasilan karyawan di tempat kerja. Karyawan yang berprestasi akan meberikan efek positif bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel independen yaitu efikasi diri pada variabel dependen yaitu prestasi kerja peserta uji sertifikasi kompetensi skema room attendant. Sedangkan pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan metode non-probability sampling, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Karyawan hotel yang mengikuti uji sertifikasi kompetensi mempunyai kesempatan yang sama dan bersedia untuk mengisi atau memilih jawaban pertanyaan yang diajukan. Untuk menguji data dari hasil jawaban responden melalui berbagai uji antara lain: validitas dan reabilitas. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisa univariat (data frekuensi) dan Analisa bivariat (chi-square). Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan efikasi diri (X) berpengaruh positif pada prestasi kerja (Y) peserta uji sertifikasi kompetensi skema room attendant dengan p value < 0.05. Berdasarkan hasil riset ini perusahaan perlu memperhatikan upaya peningkatan dan pemeliharaan efikasi diri karyawan secara berkelanjutan.
