PERANCANGAN BUKU SAKU SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN HORMON ENDOKRIN DI SMAIT ANNUR

The lack of learning media for biology subjects that are psychologically and
emotionally appropriate for students is something that is often found. The pocket book
"Highschooler Hormone Profile," which the author produced as a final project in the
Graphic Design study program, is one of the solutions to this problem. In this Final
Project report, the author describes the process of designing a pocket book titled "High
School Hormone Profile," which includes layout elements, typography, and
characterization illustrations. The literature review that the author uses is layout
theory, which includes invisible elements, typography, and visible elements
(illustrations). Based on the discussion, the authors can conclude that by using layout
elements, typography, and illustration characterizations that are appropriate for the
emotional and psychological characteristics of SMAIT ANNUR students, they can
leave an impression that can help them memorize hormones according to their
curriculum needs.

Kurangnya media pembelajaran mata pelajaran biologi yang sesuai dengan
psikologis dan emosional Siswa-Siswi merupakan suatu hal yang kerap kali masih
ditemukan. Buku saku “Highschooler Hormone Profile” yang penulis hasilkan sebagai
karya Tugas Akhir pada program studi Desain Grafis menjadi salah satu penyelesaian
masalah tersebut. Dalam laporan Tugas Akhir ini penulis menjelaskan proses
perancangan buku saku “Highschooler Hormone Profile” yang termasuk di dalamnya
meliputi elemen layout, tipografi, dan ilustrasi karakterisasi. Tinjauan Pustaka yang
penulis gunakan adalah teori layout yang didalamnya meliputi invisible element,
tipografi, dan visible element (ilustrasi). Berdasarkan pembahasan penulis dapat
menyimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan elemen layout, tipografi, dan ilustrasi
karakterisasi yang tepat untuk emosional dan psikologis Siswa-Siswi SMAIT ANNUR
dapat meninggalkan kesan sehingga dapat membantu mereka dalam menghafalkan
hormon-hormon sesuai dengan kebutuhan kurikulum mereka.
